With my background in graphic design, I got tired of carrying an overly tactical backpack into the office that stuck out like a sore thumb, so during the confusion and lack of work during our 2019 “slow the spread” I took that time to take my first stab at designing a covert conceal carry backpack. This lead me down the rabbit hole of getting it made and quickly found out the cost of doing so. At this point, I decided instead to sew it myself, and with no knowledge of sewing I signed up for and flew down to SoCal and took a class at Canvas Workers, and it’s been a wild addiction ever since.

Savage Thread Works was founded shortly after with one thing in mind, Unwavering Dedication to Craft from design to materials to final products. We also pride ourselves in not only being an American Made gear company, but a Wyoming gear company.
