The Grand Scabbard is designed for long-range hunting rifles. It encompasses your whole rifle with a high-powered scope, bipod, and suppressor. Built with DWR Coated 1000D Cordura® Nylon inside and out, with closed cell foam padding wrapping all the way around. The opening is a roll-tight design that adjusts in or out depending on the length of your rifle, and it is securely closed with Velcro® to help keep the elements out. All of this attaches to your saddle with Mil-Spec webbing looped through welded D-Rings.
Great workmanship. I was a little concerned if it was long enough for the particular rifle that I intend to use (32” barrel on a long action), but the Velcro does close and seems like it would stay secure. The secondary strap will help maintain things in their place as well. I’m not sure that I would be confident in the magnet closure staying shut with how close it ends up, so I’m glad I went with the original.
